PAUL NIESLER PARK

Public BBQ

Paul Niesler Park serves as a local coastal recreation spot in Kawana Waters, primarily used by nearby residents. The park features basic facilities including toilets, an outdoor cold shower, play equipment, and shaded areas. Beach access is straightforward, with a short 150-metre walk to the surf through the dunes, though swimming conditions suit strong swimmers only. A boardwalk and lookout provide wheelchair and pram access to the beach. The adjacent beach is dog-friendly off-leash and tends to be quieter than nearby Kawana pocket. Accessibility could be improved, as the lack of a proper footpath to the toilets makes navigation difficult for disabled visitors over the grass and rough ground. The park maintains clean, tidy coastal facilities typical of the area's well-maintained public spaces.
